Your recordings stay on your device until you choose cloud transcription. Summaries and translations are optional and require a separate action.

3. Permissions, accounts and payments / 权限、账号和支付

Microphone permission is requested when you tap Record. Audio files are imported through Apple’s document picker; the app does not request access to your whole media library. The app has no registration, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, tracking permission or in-app purchase flow in this version. No subscription is required. We do not sell personal data or use it for cross-app advertising.

点击录音时才申请麦克风权限；音频通过系统文件选择器导入，不请求整个媒体库访问权限。本版本无注册、广告 SDK、统计 SDK、跟踪权限或 App 内购买流程，无需订阅。我们不出售个人数据，也不用于跨 App 广告。

4. Consent and international processing / 选择与跨境处理

You can use recording and text notes without cloud AI. Before each transcription or summary, the app identifies what will be sent and the AI providers involved. Translation discloses Google before sending. Cloud services can process data outside your country, including the United States. You must have permission from everyone being recorded and the right to share the content. Avoid uploading confidential, medical or other sensitive information unless you understand and accept the processing.

你可以仅使用本机录音和文字笔记。每次转写或总结前会说明发送内容与 AI 服务商；翻译前说明 Google。云服务可能在你所在国家之外（包括美国）处理数据。录制及分享前须取得必要同意和权利，请谨慎上传机密、医疗等敏感内容。

5. Retention, deletion and your choices / 保留、删除与选择

Local notes and recordings remain until you delete them in the app or uninstall it. The device’s own backup settings may include app data. You can export text and recordings using the system share sheet. Swipe a note to delete it, or use Settings → Delete all notes & recordings. For a cloud transcript, the app first requests deletion through AssemblyAI’s API; if that request fails, the relevant local note is kept so you can retry. Provider deletion and backup retention follow provider policies and may not be instantaneous. Local deletion does not recall content you already shared or sent by email.

AI providers process audio and text under their own data protection, retention and model-improvement terms. We do not claim zero provider retention. Review the linked policies before uploading. To ask about a privacy request, access, correction or deletion, email support; include a transcript identifier if available, not the full recording. We respond as required by applicable law and retain support correspondence only as needed to handle requests and legal obligations.

AI 服务商按自身的数据保护、保留及模型改进条款处理音频和文字，我们不宣称供应商零保留。上传前可查看下方政策。隐私、访问、更正或删除请求可发至支持邮箱；如可提供转写标识，请勿直接发送完整录音。我们按照适用法律答复，支持往来仅在处理请求和法律义务所需期间保留。

6. Security, children and updates / 安全、儿童与更新

Requests use HTTPS. Service API keys are held as Cloudflare encrypted secrets and are not included in the app. Local data uses the protections provided by iOS. No system is completely secure. EchoScribe is not directed to children under 13; if you believe a child supplied data, contact us. Material changes to this policy will appear here with a new effective date.

网络请求使用 HTTPS；服务密钥保存在 Cloudflare 加密变量中，不写入 App。设备数据使用 iOS 的安全保护，没有系统能保证绝对安全。本 App 不面向 13 岁以下儿童，如认为儿童提供了数据请联系我们。政策重大变更将在此公布并更新生效日期。
